| 23/01/07 : Food Safety Management System |
With the increasing awareness of food safety concerns in our daily food supply chain, we have taken the initiative to implement and practise the HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) food safety management system at our bleaching clay manufacturing plants.
Adopting an internationally recognized food safety management system, we have analyzed all the possible hazards in terms of biological, chemical and physical contaminants at every step of our bleaching clay manufacturing processes and taken all the necessary preventive measures to ensure the Critical Control Points are controlled within the critical limits to meet the international requirements.
In addition, since March 2006, our food safety management system at our bleaching clay manufacturing plants in Malaysia have been audited by various 2nd parties and passed all their HACCP requirements. The latest 2nd party audit being successfully completed in January 2007 was at our Huangshan plant.

| 12/11/06 : New expansion at Huangshan, China plant |
Huangshan, November 2006 - New expansion at our Huangshan, China plant has been successfully commissioned. The expanded capacity of 70,000mt per year is mainly catered for the export markets. In addition to expansion of production capacity, we have also implemented HACCP guidelines and as well as installed new packing machines.
